Default Amp goin into protection

I have a kicker zx250.2 on 2 10" kicker comps and when i turn it up my amp cuts-off. Any ideas?

If your kicker 10s are 4 ohm and you have the amp bridged that can cause it to go into protection.

usually amps don't cutoff due to impedence till highe volume...not saying that is not the cause but i would check things like all my connects and use a meter to check the voltage on the power, ground, and remote.

also unhook the speakers and turn the amp on. if the amp goes into protect you have a problem with the amp or connection...if the amp comes on and stays on then the speakers are the problem..
then a bad speaker or impedence would be the question

it sounds like his amp doesn't like a 2 ohm load
